ROLE OF THE COMMITTEES

The association operates around two consulting committees combining many different skills :

CECALAIT's scientific committee :

The purpose of this committee is to define CECALAIT's scientific orientations and propose technical advances and development of services in accordance with the wishes expressed by our clients.Its work is reviewed and endorsed by the Board of directors.
It is composed of scientists and technicians from various disciplines:
- Founding bodies of CECALAIT and interprofessional federations,
- User laboratories:
  • Company laboratories,
  • Interprofessional, milk control and county laboratories,
  • Governement laboratories,
- Technical institutes,
- Standardisation and accreditation bodies,
- Dairy colleges.

CECALAIT's Quality Inspection Committee :

The role of this committee is to ensure that the quality of CECALAIT's services meets users expectations.

The committee is composed of four members representing the different categories of laboratory or bodies requiry CECALAIT's services.
The Quality Inspection Committee meets at least twice a year and on these occasions checks the correct application of the quality assurance system that has been established.
It produces an annual report of its activities which is read at CECALAIT's AGM.
